My Kity Kit

I am going to take the time to dedicate this whole post to the kit that I have..

I going to show you all my polishes, brushes and other tools I love. I have hardly found any post where people let us know what their kit contains, so I'm going to show you mine.

My kit consists of things that I have gathered over the year and recent months.

where to start.....

My polishes - I don't really stick to one kind of brand I like to use all different kinds from dead cheap to expensive (which I class as like O.P.I) Here is all the polishes I own and use for my designs.

As you can see I have a good few and have resulted in need a box to keep them all in.

So next is all my brushes and bit and bobs...

My brushes where from eBay for a few pounds and they are as good as the 4 I paid £10 for so i was more than impressed with them. When they do get a little gammy I will just buy some new ones! :)

This stamping set I was so excited to use, now its here I just cant get used to it! I haven't even been able to do one design using it and have just given up!

Striping tape = A must have!

Everything else that I use - The rubbish stuff! :)

Mellow Yellow

31 Day Nail Challenge - Yellow - Day 3

I love the colour yellow at the moment, it is such a nice colour to wear on your talons! Although it would look a lot better with a tan... but with my skin tone that will never happen unless it comes from a bottle. So I have been looking forward to this day in the challenge from that start!

I had so many cool ideas to try, but today I bought a Rimmel Matte top coat varnish so I was itching to use it. I painted my nails with mellow yellow polish and them covered them with my new matte top cost. The results were amazing it was like a Velvet finish! :)

I though I would leave them like that as i was happy with them but then as I was sorting my kit out i came across my gold striping tape. So I used this to do a little simple design on top...

Orange-Tastic!

31 Day Nail Challenge - Day 2 - Orange

When it comes to the colour orange not a lot sprung to mind, you could maybe think of ice lollies, the sun or the obvious 'an orange' :) As much as I do love all these ideas I just wasn't feeling doing those designs. It was like I had hit a Brick wall, I couldn't think of anything... but when I was looking through fabrics I came up with a design......

Simple and easy!

JolieBox 2

'July's Jolie Box'

well it feels like it was only yesterday that I was posting about May issue of the JolieBox and i have heard for a few people that is the case. I was one of the lucky ones that managed to get theres on time. I have been surprisingly impressed with the customer services that they offer and was kept informed about all delays on a daily basis.

The July box was all about summer or shall I say the summer essentials and getting your skin prepared for and future sun. the thing I love the most about getting these boxes is that you get to try out the more smaller/ boutique brand that you wouldn't normally come across in your normal super store!

So what was in July's Box.....

Jane Iredale Tantasia - Self Tanner

When it comes to fake tan I am always a little worried.. this product seemed to give the most subtle bronze sheen which was really nice. I have only been applying to my face and neck due to the small amount but I have nothing bad at all to say about this one!

Nailgirls - Medal Collection Nail Polish

You can never go wrong with metallic or shimmery polishes they can make any outfit look $100! I loved that you go two shades (Bronze and Gold) perfect for the current London Olympics.

Wen - Sweet Almond and Mint Cleansing Conditioner

so I am saving this product for when/if I go on holiday as it is the Perfect travelling size. I will let you know how it goes.

Nail Separators

I am always looking for these somehow I buy them and the next day they are gone... so these where a god send.

Etat Pur Miomimetique - Express Purifying Mask

My skin is so sensitive I was a little hesitant to use this product. It was nice and soothing when I applied and left my skin feeling fresh and clean although I did not see any improvement to my normal skin routine.

KMS California - Free Shape

this is a heat protection spray I have been using  for a few weeks now, it leaves my hair so soft and shiny. I will be buying this again! :)

So far I have not revived any bad products for JolieBox, I guess I have been lucky that I am willing to try new products and give them a chance. JolieBox are definitely my favourite beauty box and I am counting down the seconds for the next one!

Pac Man

My friend text me today a picture of some Pac Man nails and said that she needed them in her life! We all know it as out retro childhood game and I still love playing it to this day.

So I thought I would give it ago.... Yes the Pac Man is the wrong way up but it wasn't until I had finished that I realised.

None the less she still loved them :)

Bargain Buys

I am constantly a Facebook user and have just been introduced to a group on there call FaceBay. It is a page where everyone can post there unwanted items for sale and other people can make offers to buy. Kind of like a local eBay, My initial thought was that it was full of people selling the most usless things.

until.....

I won an iPhone at work and needed to sell it as I already have one. So I posted it onto my Facebook and I was scrolling through to see if anyone had posted I came across...

30 Polishes for £10 :)

Straight away I had to have them! So I messaged the girl and told them I would buy them straight away. She bought them round to me that evening as she lived in the area. She had put tehm in a nice clear box and also 20 diffrent patches of nail stickers. She said she no longer had time to do her nails due to her work life...

Her loss my gain :)

Strawberry Shortcake

31 Day Nail Challenge - Day 1 - Red

With the weather the way it's been lately all I can think about is summer refreshers! This is where I got my Inspro from for my Red nails for day 1 of the challenge.

I love this look it's so cute and summery, although everytime I look at them it makes me hungry :)

So here is what I used to do this look. I'm sure if you did it yourself it would be alot better than my rushed quick job at 11 at night :/ really need to start sleeping more :)

Collection 2000 - Hot Looks

I got these from Superdrug at £1.19 and I'm amazed at how nice it goes on. Surprisingly one of my fave polishes to use.

Big Hair - Red
Ninja - Green

Barry M - Yellow- 134
You can never go wrong with a Barry M polish although I think there alot cheaper ones out there that are better to apply and give and amazing finish.

17 Lasting Fix- Mellow Yellow
So this was a prezzi and I love it! It has a gold shimmer too it and it is great for summer :)
